Students have the option of earning an Associate Degree in Professional Pilot - Helicopter, a training certificate as a Professional Pilot - Helicopter, or students have the option of taking individual courses to meet their needs.
The Associate Degree or Certificate Option both start with all your flight training classes. You will earn all your ratings to include Certified Flight Instructor with Instrument rating, in approximately 10 months. Each course, private, instrument, commercial, etc. are taught in a fast-paced 'short-term' course style so you don't have to wait 2 years to get the courses you need to be a professinal helicopter pilot. We get it, you need to get done quickly so you can get to work. Nobody has 2 years to wait to start a career, so we've designed the program so you can get your flight training out of the way first, then as you take your general education classes, you can work as a flight instructor and build those valuable hours so when you're through with the degree program, you have both the education and experience to get your career started off right! All flight training courses are conducted under FAA Part 141. This doesn't probably mean much to you, but the Federal Aviation Administration has approved the training program for all flight courses. You will save time and money by conducting flight training with an FAA approved school.
